Don’t Take My Word For It…

Last week (February 1st, 2023), when I asked for feedback on content ideas, the following message came in…

“Man I’ve been following you for YEARS!!! I was part that nightmare Robin Hood stretch back in the day, and many, many, more exciting and fun times since then. When I started following you, I was an immature gambler who didn’t understand the game. I can’t tell you how many times I would get pissed because one of your suggested plays would lose. I’d go on tilt, stop following you on Twitter, etc. You name the foolish behavior, I did it. But something about you and your content always pulled me back. What I learned over time is that what pulls me back is your honesty about gambling. It is hard. It is a grind. You don’t win every day. You must have discipline to succeed. Over time, these messages (and in a way, your coaching) sunk in. I slowly started to understand how to remove emotions from my action. I became a better bankroll manager. I stopped chasing. In 2021, I had my first winning year (I gamble daily). Then in 2022 I had my best year to date – to the point I erased my loses from 2017-2020 to become a profitable bettor over the last 5 years. I owe a lot of that to you. Thank you for being that consistent voice of reason, even when I didn’t want to hear it.”

I receive some awesome feedback from all of you, but I would say this is some of the best feedback I have ever received. The above person is the not even close to the first TSP follower and subscriber who went from TSP follower to TSP hater and eventually became an incredibly loyal follower once again. Learning sports betting reality is an evolutionary process for gamblers, and I get that.

I am fighting all these touts who tell you how gambling profits come easy, how you can leave your job and live the good life as a professional gambler…just give them money and they will show you how. People want to believe that dream…and don’t want me raining on their parade.

So, when TSP content doesn’t hit 60, 70, 80% or when I explain different realities in betting…these folks just see The Sharp Plays as a fraud because, well, everyone else in the sports gambling space just prints money with their selections. It’s why the sportsbooks and casinos are billion dollar corporations…they just give the money away!!

**PEOPLE WOULD RATHER FOLLOW THE REAL FRAUDS IN THIS BUSINESS BECAUSE THE FRAUDS FEED PEOPLE’S DREAMS…LIKE A DRUG…WHEREAS I DASH THOSE FOOLISH GAMBLING DREAMS WITH REGULAR DOSES OF BETTING REALITY. SO, I BECOME THE ENEMY.**

I actually provide the reality of gambling. The reality is you won’t win every day, week or month and you will lose A LOT. The catch is, we will win just a bit more than we lose. The “bit more we win” over time ends up being a nice material profit.

However, to get to that material profit requires you to be PATIENT and to understand there will be months you follow TSP content (free & paid) and lose. Maybe a couple months back to back. Then you get your runs like cashing three parlays in a row or the Degenerate Club churning out 57.4% winners over almost 300 selections.

If you always leave when it is cold, you are never there for when it is hot. If history has shown you anything with TSP content…it will always be cold…but it will be pretty damn hot too…and it will be hotter for longer than it was cold.

**So, be patient, stay the course and ride the ups and downs. There is no sprinting to sports betting profits. It is a marathon!**

Good luck!!
